Project Description:

The applicant proposes to construct a 280 foot long x 12 foot wide gravel roadway to allow for boat launching access on Treasure Lake. Approximately 220 feet of the roadway will traverse NYS Freshwater Wetland YL-1 (Class II) and its 100 foot adjacent area (approximately 70 feet of wetland proper). Including side slopes, the footprint of the roadway disturbance will be approximately 18 feet wide resulting in a total disturbance of approximately 1,260 square feet within the wetland proper and 2,700 square feet within the 100 foot adjacent area. Two 8 inch diameter culvert pipes will be installed to maintain hydrologic connnectivity between the portions of the wetland to be bisected.
