Negative Declaration

Niagara County - The Niagara County Sewer District No. 1, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Capital Plan - Phase 2 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the completion by the Niagara County Sewer District (NCSD) of various projects under its Capital Improvement Plan. The projects will include Water Pollution Control Center improvements, Tonawanda Creek Road Pump Station improvements, Tonawanda Creek Road Forcemain improvements and Pipeline Right-of-Way maintenance. The project is located at various locations throughout Niagara County, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Wyoming County - The Town of Orangeville, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Stony Creek Wind Farm Project. The Fianl EIS is available at the Stevens Memorial Community Library, 146 Main Street, Attica, NY 14011, the Warsaw Public Library, 130 North Main Street, Warsaw, NY 14569 and on line at: www.invenergyLLC.com/contact.html.

The action involves a proposal by the applicant, Stony Creek Energy, LLC, to construct a wind-powered generating facility consisting of up to 59 General Electric 1.6-100 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a maximum height of nearly 430 feet, which includes an operation and maintenance (O&M) facility, a system of gravel access roads, a 34.5 KV electrical collection system of buried electrical cable from the 59 WTG(s) to a substation, and one 262 foot permanent meterological tower. The project is located Town of Orangeville, New York.
