Madison County - The Town of Cazenovia Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Muraco/New Venture Assets LLC Site Plan Approval may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves a proposal by the applicant, David C. Muraco and the owner, New Venture Assets, LLC, to raze all buildings on the premises, including a house (through disassembly), the existing barn and shed on a site which is designated on the New York State and National Historic registries. The project is located at 2363 Route 20 East in the Town of Cazenovia, New York.

Positive Declaration and Public Scoping
Oswego County - The City of Fulton, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed City of Fulton Brownfield Opportunity Area (BOA) Nomination Study may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on August 2, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the City of Fulton Municipal Building, 141 South First Street, Fulton, NY. The action involves the establishment by the Common Council of the City of Fulton of portions of the City of Fulton as a Brownfield Opportunity Area (BOA), and the Common Council is in the process of completing a Brownfield Opportunity Area Nomination Study (BOA Study).
The BOA Study wlll provide an in-depth and thorough description and analysis, including an economic and market trends analysis, of existing conditions, opportunities, and re-use potential for properties located in the proposed BOA, with an emphasis on the identification and reuse potential of strategic brownfield sites that are catalysts for revitalization.
It is anticipated that the BOA Study will result in future redevelopment of several brownfield, abandoned and/or vacant sites, enhanced parkland, new recreational and mixed~use opportunities, and access improvements.
The BOA Study Area is located in the City of Fulton, New York. The BOA Study boundary encompasses approximately 531 acres of land, and the Study Area is defined by Oswego River on the west, City of Fulton municipal boundaries to the south and southeast, 7th Street and NYS Route 176 to the east, and bending back west towards the River running parallel to Van Buren Street to the north.

Notice of Acceptance of Final SEIS
Onondaga County - The Town of Onondaga Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Peregrine Landing on Onondaga Hill. The Final SEIS is available at the Town of Onondaga Town Hall, 5020 Ball Road, Syracuse, NY 13215 and on line at: www.onondagahill.com.
The action involves a major subdivision with construction of roadways and drainage facilities to support approximately 139 single family homes and a 30,000 square foot adult memory care facility, consisting of 52 beds. In addition, the northeast portion of the lands will include approximately 46,000 square feet of commercial office space. Although presently not proposed, it is envisioned that the western portion of the lands will feature 170,000 square feet of commercial development, consisting of retail structures of various scope and sizes. To effectuate this proposal, the applicant has requested a zone change of 118.3 acres from Residential (R-1) to Planned Residential Community (PRC) and the change of 11+ acres from Neighborhood Shopping (NS) to PRC. The project is located on West Seneca Turnpike (South of Route 175) on "Onondaga Hill" in the Town of Onondaga, New York.
