Negative Declaration

Genesee County - The City of Batavia Planning and Development, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Graham Manufacturing Finish System Building will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a 10,000 square foot building to blast and paint finish operations in an existing industrial campus. The project is located at 20 Florence Avenue in the City of Batavia, New York.

Monroe County - The Mayor Thomas S. Richards, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Sale of Property will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the sale of real property owned by the Cultural Center Commission and the City of Rochester to the University of Rochester. The project is located in the Cultural District, at 400, 403 and 420 East Main Street and 100 North Chestnut Street in the City of Rochester, New York.

Monroe County - The Pittsford Village Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Greenway Waterfront Improvement Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of pedestrian and road improvements along Schoen Place and landscaping and construction of a pavillion on an existing Village dock. Also, canal side park improvements at the Port of Pittsford Park include construction of new boat docks, band shelter, water and electric services, sidewalk, landscaping and a new kiosk. The project is located along the north and south sides of the Canal immediately east of the Main Street bridge, Schoen Place and the Port of Pittsford Park in the Village of Pittsford, New York.

Positive Declaration

Ontario County - Ontario County, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Ontario County Phase II Stage VIII and IX Landfill Expansion may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves a proposal by Casella Waste Services of Ontario, LLC to expand the current landfill in the Town of Seneca, Ontario County, New York. The proposed project area is approximately 100 ± acres which includes the construction of approximately 40 acres of additional double composite liner area. The project would also include an additional Landfill Gas to Energy Facility, relocation of the existing maintenance facility, access roads, leachate storage infrastructure, and stormwater ponds. A soil borrow area located on property owned by the County or Casella, on or adjacent to the existing landfill property, is also being investigated and its acreage is included in the above referenced project area. The project is located 1879 Route 5 and 20 in Stanley, Town of Seneca, New York.
