Project Description: The project is briefly described as forest management and vegetative cutting within 100 feet of the East Branch of the Ausable River, a designated Recreational Rivers area.
Negative Declaration
Clinton County - The Town of Chazy Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Chazy Salt and Sand Facility will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a 84 foot x 138 foot Salt and Storage Shed with a capacity of 6,800 cubic yards. The site will be graded to control erosion. This project will reduce salt and sediment from entering the Corbeau Creek, Lake Champlain and nearby wetlands. The project is located 884 Miner Farm Road in the Town of Chazy, New York.
