For Adirondack Park Agency: Comment Period Ends: July 14, 2011

Project Description: The action involves construction of a new municipal equipment storage building. The building will be a 5 bay garage with a single wash bay. The wash bay may be used in the future by off-site vehicles (e.g., from other municipalities) by prior agreement with the Town of Lake Pleasant. The garage will have a footprint of 6,720 square feet (60 feet by 112 feet) and a height of 35 feet 1 inch from existing grade to the peak of the roof. The garage will have dark brown corrugated metal siding, dark green trim, light brown insulated metal overhead doors, and dark green asphalt shingle roofing. There will be three motion-activated lights and one manually-activated light on the exterior of the building above the garage doors. All construction will occur within an existing gravel surfaced parking lot, with site disturbance totaling less than 1 acre. An existing well will provide the building's water supply. The wash bay wastewater will be treated via an existing on-site oil and water separator. If plumbing is ever installed, that wastewater will be treated by an existing on-site wastewater treatment system.

Negative Declaration

Saratoga County - The Village of Ballston Spa Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Mohican Hill Senior Housing Development Phase 2 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the development of 40 senior citizen apartments in 5 buildings with associated parking, utilities, and stormwater management. The project is located on Fairground Avenue in the Village of Ballston Spa, New York.

Washington County - The Easton Town Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Covell Major Resubdivision #8-10 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the resubdivision of Lot 1 of a previous plat, for the purpose of creating one single family residence lot. The property lies within an MDR (medium density residential) area of the Town Land Use Plan Map. Lot development is limited by the proximity to a stream flowing through the property and the loamy OaC soil type. An engineered septic plan has been submitted. The introduction of a residence in this location will add to the existing grouping of houses, with the addition of a driveway on a bend in the road in this section of Windy Hill Road, impacting traffic to a small degree. The area is characterized by other similar residential lots within a wooded area including a wooded pasture, and in the vicinity of a State permitted gravel mining activities. The project is located on the north side of Windy Hill Road and east of Hogsback Road in the Town of Easton, New York.
