Negative Declaration

Putnam County - The Town Board of the Town of Patterson, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Local Law 4 of 2010 "Zoning, Multi-family Overlay Zone" will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of a local law which amends Chapter 154, "Zoning" to extend the multi-family overlay zone to include a parcel identified as Tax Map No 34.-3-22. The parcel is adjacent to the Fox Run Condominiums parcel which is also located in the multi-family overlay zone. The local law also established criteria for developing age-qualified multifamily housing within the overlay zoning district. The project is located in the Town of Patterson, New York.

Rockland County - The Town of Haverstraw Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local Law No. 2 of 2011 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the creation of a new zoning district called the Country Commercial Business District which would allow by special permit only on fully improved county or state roadways in all zoning districts except the R-40 and R-120 zones, a single or two story attached retail or service retail businesses which are limited to include a: bakery, barber shop, convenience store, china and giflware store, clothing store, deli, florist, floral decorating, hair salon, jewelry store, picture framing, pharmacy, sporting goods, furniture, shoe, health care and beauty aids and video rental stores. The structure may also include a single accessory apartment above the first floor commercial use. The project is located on all improved county or state roadways in all zoning districts except R-40 or R-120 in the Town of Haverstraw, New York.

Westchester County - The Town of Yorktown Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Crompound Crossing will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal to develop an existing 8.2 acre commercial parcel into retail space and work force housing development. Construction of parking lots, roads and alternative facilities will be developed to meet zoning requirements. Some stormwater practices are located in the Town wetland buffer. The site is currently zoned C-2/R-3 and served by existing public utilities. The project is located at 3372 Old Crompond Road in the Town of Yorktown, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Supplemental Draft EIS and Public Hearing

Dutchess County - The Town of East Fishkill Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Montage at East Fishkill. A public hearing on the SDEISwas held at the Town of East Fishkill Town Hall on June 7, 2011. The public hearing was adjourned and will continue on July 19, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town of East Fishkill Town Hall, 330 Route 376, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533. Public comment will be accepted at the public hearing on the SDEIS and the proposed site plans and subdivision plat, and written public comment will be accepted for an additional ten (10) days following the close of the public hearing. Copies of the SDEIS and the site plans and proposed subdivision plat are available at the Town of East Fishkill Town Hall and online at: www.montageateastfishkill.com.

The action involves a proposal by the applicant to subdivide a 385.5 acre parcel into 122 new single family residential lots located on approximately 341.5 acres, with five open space lots, two utility lots, and one lot for an existing home and one 44 acre lot. The preferred plan is a conservation subdivision, serviced by central water and sewer services. The project is located along the south side of NYS Route 52 and opposite the intersection of NYS Route 216 in the Town of East Fishkill, New York.
