The Department has made a tentative determination to reissue the lapsed SPDES permit to discharge a maximum volume of 20,000 gallons per day of treated sanitary wastewater from Camp Rav Tov Dairyland into a tributary of the West Branch of Beerkill, a Class B(t) waterbody. Camp Rav Tov Dairyland is an existing facility located at the intersection of NYS Rt. 52 and Martinfield Rd., operating as a boys summer camp. The permittee will be required to maintain records to verify compliance with the SPDES permit conditions and discharge limits. A draft SPDES permit (SPDES No. NY0149403) is available for review at the NYSDEC Region 3 office.
