Suffolk County - Suffolk County, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Declaration as Surplus and Authorization of Sale and/or Lease of Real Property in Yaphank Pursuant to County Law Section 215 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the declaring as surplus approximately 255 acres of County real property in Yaphank and authorizing the sale and/or lease of the property. The project is located west side of Yaphank Avenue, south of Long Island Rail Road in Yaphank, New York.

Suffolk County - The Town Board of the Town of Babylon, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed New Frontier II, LLC, may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves a proposal by the applicant to rezone nine (9) parcels zoned Business E and Residence B to a Multiple Residence Use District and construct 500 units (213 one bedroom and 287 two bedroom units), 45,500 square feet of proposed retail space and associated site improvements. The application includes the subdivision of the nine (9) parcels into five (5) for the purpose of a five (5) phased development. The nine (9) parcels total 20.26 acre. The project is located on the east side of Broadway, 127.77 feet north of Nathalie Avenue in Amityville, New York.
