Negative Declaration

Jefferson County - The Town Board of the Town of Alexandria, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Formation of Town of Alexandria Route 12 Sewer District #2 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a sewage collection system with approximately 18,000 lineal feet of forcemain, 2,500 lineal feet of gravity lateral pipe and 23 grinder pump stations. The collection system will be used to convey the sewage from the District to the existing wastewater treatment plant in the Town of Orleans. The project is located along New York State Route 12 from Village of Alexandria Bay, New York, to the District No. 1 Boundary.
