Positive Declaration and Public Scoping
Genesee County - The Town of Batavia Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Gardner Estates Subdivision may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A Draft Scoping document will be prepared for the Draft EIS and will be available at Batavia Town Hall, 3833 West Main Street Road, Batavia, NY 14020, two weeks prior to the public meeting. Written comments on the draft scope will be accepted until close-of-business June 21, 2011. A public scoping session will be held on June 7, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at the Batavia Town Hall, 3833 West Main Street Road, Batavia, NY 14020. The action involves the construction of a new subdivision and housing rental to be known as the Gardner Estates Subdivision which will consist of 19 single family housing units and includes related facilities such as roads, water, sewer and drainage systems along with storm water treatment measures. The project is located at 5017 Clinton Street Road, Batavia, NY.
