Negative Declaration

Rensselaer County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed D&M Hoffman Bank Mine will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action proposes to modify an existing Mined Land Reclamaton Permit, to add 18.5 acres to an existing 5.3 acre life of mine, for a new life of mine of 23.8 acres. The project is located on Watson Road, Berlin, New York.

Rensselaer County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Hammersmith Gravel Mine will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action proposes to renew and modify an existing Mined Land Reclamation Permit, to add 22.16 acres to an existing 15.3 acre life of mine, for a new life of mine of 37.46 acres. The project is located on Watson Road, Berlin, NY.

Rensselaer County - The Town of East Greenbush, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Carver Court Planned Development District will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a 186 unit residential development situated on 77.82 acres. The project is proposed to include 70 town homes, 116 condominium units and a community center. The project is proposed to be developed in four (4) phases. The project lies within the Town of East Greenbush, and is east of Interstate I-90, Troy Road and Thompson Hill Road and north of Upper Mannix Road.
