Project Description:
The applicant proposes to temporarily impact Freshwater Wetland EG-1 and the Papscannee Creek, including 1250 linear feet of shoreline to improve an access road and complete the landfill cap on the existing Sterling Site 3 Remediation Project. The site is located on Riverside Avenue in East Greenbush, Rensselaer County.

Project Description:
The applicant is proposing to construct an on-shore concrete pad 14' long (parallel to the shoreline) by 8' wide and 6" thick along the shoreline of Mariaville Lake to take the place of an existing wooden platform. The concrete pad will not extend into the water or below the mean high water elevation. A floating dock/deck is proposed to be attached to the concrete pad in order to secure the applicant's 45' boat. The project is located on the south side of NYS Route 159 across the road from the applicant's residence at 8496 Mariaville Road.
