Project Description:

The applicant proposes to temporarily impact Freshwater Wetland EG-1 and the Papscannee Creek, including 1250 linear feet of shoreline to improve an access road and complete the landfill cap on the existing Sterling Site 3 Remediation Project. Project Description:

The applicant is proposing to construct an on-shore concrete pad 14' long (parallel to the shoreline) by 8' wide and 6" thick along the shoreline of Mariaville Lake to take the place of an existing wooden platform. The concrete pad will not extend into the water or below the mean high water elevation. A floating dock/deck is proposed to be attached to the concrete pad in order to secure the applicant's 45' boat. The project is located on the south side of NYS Route 159 across the road from the applicant's residence at 8496 Mariaville Road.

The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The permit type is exempt or the activity is being reviewed in accordance with federal historic preservation regulations.

Coastal Management:

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
