Project Description:
The applicant is proposing to apply Sonar Q to control Eurasian watermilfoil and American waterweed on up 40 acres of Chrysler Pond during the 2011 summer season. Treatment dates are anticipated to occur between May 1st and August 31st. Chrysler Pond (NYS FWW CO-5) is located west of the intersection of Columbia County Routes 27 and 27A, in the Town of Ancram, Columbia County.

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

Repairs consist of replacing the existing service outlet, construct a new emergency spillway, and raise the dam to provide required free board.
