Negative Declaration Correction
Ulster County - The Town of Rochester Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Streamside Estates, Inc, Major Subdivision Approval will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal by the Applicant for a 7 lot residential subdivision of 47 ± acres within the AR-3 Zone of the Town of Rochester. There will be the construction of homesites along with individual water supply and septics for each residential lot. A separate private road access is planned for the proposed 7 lot subdivision. The applicant will also provide stormwater management practices and emergency access from the neighboring mobile home park. The project is located on Cherrytown Road in the Town of Rochester, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing
Sullivan County - The Town of Fallsburg Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Westbourne Estates Development. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on April 14, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fallsburg Senior Center, 12 Laurel Avenue, South Fallsburg, New York. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until April 30, 2011. The Draft EIS is available on line at: www.4ecological.com.
The action involves the construction of a mixed residential development, known as Westbourne Estates, on approximately 92.0 acres. The proposed development would consist of 331 units, which would include 196 apartment style units (44 of which are existing units) and 135 single (31 single family units) and duplex units (104 two family/duplex units). The project would be divided into three phases of development. Construction of the proposed project is scheduled to commence in 2011 and be completed by 2019. The project is located west of NYS Route 42 and south of NYS Route 52 in the hamlet of Woodbourne, Town of Fallsburg, Sullivan County, New York.
