Project Title: Village of Lake Placid

Location: Village of Lake Placid in the Town of North Elba, New York, on or near Main Street, on the shoreline of Mirror Lake.

For Adirondack Park Agency: Comment Period Ends: March 30, 2011

Public Hearing: March 30, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the North Elba Meeting Room, 2093 Main Street, Lake Placid, New York.

Project Description: Requests for the following structures/activities, which all require variances pursuant §806 of the Adirondack Park Agency Act:
1) Replacement of an existing 470 square foot bandshell 15.6 feet in height above existing grade with a 560 square foot bandshell 24.5 feet in height above final grade;
2) Construction of an ADA compliant walkway which will be attached to the bandshell.

Negative Declaration

Franklin County - The Santa Clara Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Amendment of Land Use Law will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of Local Law No. 2 of 2011 amending the Town of Santa Clara Land Use Law. The Local Law repeals the Town's current Land Use Law, but not the official Zoning Map, and replaces it with a revised Land Use Law making numerous changes. The project is located throughout the Town of Santa Clara, New York.

Saratoga County - The City of Saratoga Springs City Council, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Saratoga Hospital Planned Unit Development (PUD) Amendment will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the removal of a 1.15 acre portion of land which is currently located in the PUD and add it to a 0.6 acre portion of property being received from Saratoga Golf and Polo Club. An increase in the size of the proposed C-2 building by 10,000 square feet based on 0.6 acre property proposal for additional parking. Modification of portions of the legislation which are either no longer applicable or consolidating sections that have the same purpose and intent. The project is located at 301 Church Street, Saratoga Springs, New York.

Warren County - The Warrensburg Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Grind N' Gears and Barber Shop/Salon a will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the development of a coffee shop, bicycle shop and barber shop/salon. The project will not require any expansion of the existing footprint and is instead an adaptive reuse of an existing building. The project is located 3861 Main Street in the Town of Warrenburg, New York.
