Project Description:
The applicant proposes continued mining of an existing sand and gravel pit, with processing (screening) equipment. The Life of Mine boundary will be expanded by .02 acre in the southwest corner to include a new access road, off Will Rogers Drive. The new proposed life of mine boundary is increasing from 6.23 acres to 7.15 acres, due to more accurate mapping and relocation of the main access road, with 5.54 acres to be affected in the next 5 year permit term. The estimated life of the mine including final reclamation phase is 11 years. The proposed hours of operation remain Mon - Fri , 7AM - 5PM. The maximum truck trips per hour is 4. Stormwater will be retained on site, and mining activities will remain above ground water table. The project is located on a 10.6-acre parcel of land, owned by the permittee.

Project Description:
The applicant has proposed to eradicate an infestation of the invasive Asian Clam (Corbicula fluminea), from 6.6+/- acres of Lake George immediately south of English Brook by means of suction dredging and benthic matting. The suction dredging component will involve the removal of 2100+/- cubic yards of populated bed material to a depth of six inches in the areas adjacent to and under docks, and the beach areas along the shoreline. Dredged material will be conveyed to geotextile bags on shore, where the material will be dewatered and removed for disposal at approved upland sites. The remainder of the infested area will be covered with benthic matting, with overlap into dredged areas.
