Notice of Acceptance of Final GEIS
Albany County - The City of Albany Common Council, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Draft Solid Waste Management Plan for the Capital Region Solid Waste Management Partnership. Copies of the Final GEIS may be obtained from the contact person listed below or on line at the Capital Region Solid Waste Management Partnership web site at: www.capitalregionlandfill.com and at the Albany City website at: www.albanyny.gov. The action involves a new Solid Waste Management Plan (SWMP) for the Capital Region Solid Waste Management Partnership Planning Unit which defines the key elements of the future solid waste management program for the region, through the year 2030. The project is located throughout multiple municipalities in Albany and Rensselaer counties, New York.
