Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The Board of Education of the Wyandanch Union Free School District, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed District-Wide Improvements at the Wyandanch Union Free School District will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves district-wide construction and facility improvement projects to expand the range of educational programs offered by the District, to improve educational efficiency and functionality of spaces, to modify spaces to accommodate specific curriculum requirements, to improve athletic fields and facilities, and to create, upgrade and/or improve various infrastructure at the Wyandanch High School and Middle School Campus and the Wyandanch Elementary School Campus, which includes the LaFrancis Hardiman Elementary School, Martin Luther King Elementary School and the District Administrative Office. The projects are located at the following district addresses all of which are in the Hamlet of Wyandanch, Town of Babylon, New York:

Suffolk County - The Planning Board of the Town of Southampton, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Jack Youngerman Subdivision will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a subdivision of land which consists of a standard plan with two (2) lots on a 4.0425 acre, 176,134 square foot parcel. Proposed Lot 1 contains 96,134 square feet and Proposed Lot 2 possesses 40 feet of frontage and contains 80,000 square feet. Both lots will have frontage on Scuttlehole Road situated within the R-80 Zoning District and the Agricultural Overlay District. The project is located at 2003 Scuttlehole Road within the Hamlet of Bridgehampton, Town of Southampton, New York.

Suffolk County - The Town of Southampton Zoning Board of Appeals, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Leland Lane, LLC Change of Use Application will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a request for zoning relief from the Town of Southampton's Zoning Board of Appeals to allow a change of use in a 3,174 square foot commercial unit located at the west end of an exisiting approved 15,000 square foot commercial building. The Applicant is specifically requesting persmission to establish a convenience store use in the building which is located on property zoned for Highway Business (HB). A convenience store use (the most appropriate description of the proposed use) is not listed in the Town's Zoning Code's "Business Districts Table of Use Regulations" (§330-33) and therefore is not permitted. The proposed action may also require Planning Board approval and Suffolk County Department of Health Services approval. The project is located on the south side of County Road 39, north of the Long Island Railroad, east of St. Andrews Road, and west of Tuckahoe Lane in the Hamlet of Tuckahoe, Town of Southampton, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Suffolk County - The Town of Southampton, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Serenity Change of Zone Petition. The action involves the application for a Change of Zone from Country Residence 40,000 square feet to Residential Planned Development District (RPDD) to build sixty (60) Senior Citizen Condominiums for ages fifty-five (55) and older, twelve (12) of which were to be set aside as Community Benefit Units. An amended application addressed a new alternative of medical/professional offices and condos. The project is located on 15.217 acres on the west side of North Phillips Avenue in Speonk, Town of Southampton, New York.
