Project Description:

The applicant proposes the subdivision of an approximately 59-acre lot into 16 single-family home parcels. Proposed disturbances to adjacent area of NYS-regulated freshwater wetland WR-11, Class 2, include several curtain or footing drains, a stormwater outfall, and approximately 14,715 square feet for the one access road (lots 1-6 and 15-16) and approximately 2,406 square feet for the second access road (lots 7-14). No disturbance is proposed to the wetland itself.

A cultural resources survey has been completed. Based on information provided in the survey report, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) has determined that the proposed activity will have no impact on registered or eligible archaeological sites or historic structures. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.

Coastal Management:

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

Project Description:

The applicant proposes to stabilize approximately 1,200 linear feet of an eroded section of the shoreline of the west bank of the Kensico Reservoir [DEC Water Index #ER-3-P1063, Class AA(t)] approximately 75 feet south of the Catskill Upper Effluent Chamber (CATUEC) and east of Westlake Drive. Stabilization will be accomplished by placing rip-rap material along the shoreline and is required to minimize erosion and maintain turbidity levels within the New York State and Federal water quality parameters at the CATUEC.
