Negative Declaration
Clinton County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed R.E. Beeman Rapids Road Clay Pit will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a new 10.37 acre (including haul road) surface unconsolidated clay mine, to be reclaimed to grassland upon completion of mining. The project is located on Rapids Road in the Town of Champlain, New York.
