Notice of Acceptance of Draft GEIS and Public Hearing
Ulster County - The Town of Ulster, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed TechCity. A public hearing on the Draft GEIS will be held on February 3, 2011 at 7:15 p.m. at the Town of Ulster Town Hall, 1 Town Hall Drive, Lake Katrine, NY 12449. Written comments on the Draft GEIS will be accepted until February 15, 2011. The Draft GEIS is available for review at the Town of Ulster Town Hall, One Town Hall Drive, Lake Katrine, NY 12449; the Town of Ulster Public Library, 860 Ulster Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401 and on line at: http://www.townofulster.org.
The action involves an amendment of the Zoning Law, to establish a Redevelopment Overlay District (ROD) that provides alternative provisions for use and development of certain qualifying sites in Office Manufacturing (OM) District. The Zoning Map will also be revised to designate the TechCity East Campus such a district and approval of a proposed "Comprehensive Design Plan", for the redevelopment of the East Campus, which establishes the general distribution of uses, location and layout of buildings, parking and interior circulation within the district to be designated. The project is located TechCity East Campus, Lake Katrine, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing
Westchester County - The City of Yonkers, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Buena Vista Avenue Teutonia Development. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on January 12, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Yonkers City Hall, City Council Chambers, 4th Floor, Yonkers, New York. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until February 9, 2011. The Draft EIS is available on line at: http://www.timmillerassociates.com/publicreview/yonkersbvt/default.html.
The action involves a mixed use development of 412 new dwelling units, mechanical parking garage and rooftop hydroponic garden adjoining the existing 40 unit trolley barn development. The Trolley Barn building, previously converted to loft residential-live-work units, is a National Register of Historic Places site. The new 412 units are proposed to be contained in a 25 story residential building. The other significant element of the development is the proposed dismantling of the Teutonia Hall façade, a building of local historic interest and the placement of the façade elsewhere on the site. Additionally the project includes the rehabilitation of three frame dwellings on the east side of Buena Vista Avenue into multi-family structures. These dwellings are proposed for historic presevation quality rehabilitation. Other factors in the project include the brown field clean up of the site.
The project is located at 92 Main Street, 41 - 65 and 66 - 72 Buena Vista Avenue in the City of Yonkers, New York.
