Negative Declaration

Wyoming County - The Town of Pike Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Local Law No. 1 of 2010 entitled "Establishing the Right to Farm Legislation for the Town of Pike, New York" will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of Local Law #1 of 2010 which is aimed at maintaining a supportive operating environment for farmers by allowing agriculture practices inherent to and necessary for the business of farming to proceed and be undertaken free of unreasonable and unwarranted interference or restriction. Support and encourage all forms of diversified agriculture including alternative forms, from state of the art to a horse and plow. The project is located throughout the Town of Pike, New York.
