Negative Declaration

Monroe County - The Town of Parma, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Revisions to the Parma Town Noise Ordinance will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal by the Town of Parma Town Board to amend the Town's Noise Ordinance as it relates to agricultural activities. The project is located throughout the Town of Parma, New York.

Monroe County - The Town of Parma, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Amendment to the Parma Town Zoning Ordinance will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the a proposal by the Town of Parma Town Board to amend the Town's Zoning Ordinance to allow bottle and can redemption activities in the General Commercial and Highway Commercial Zoning Districts. The project is located in the General and Highway Commercial Zoning Districts of the Town of Parma, New York.

Steuben County - The Corning Painted Post Area School District, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed 2010 District Wide Capital Improvement Project or 2010 Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The 2010 Project includes among other actions the following (as more fully set forth in the 2010 Project Plans on file in the District's Administrative Offices and incorporated herein by reference):

(i) The closing of the Northside Blodgett and Corning Free Academy School campuses for reuse or redevelopment as proposed, and the closing of the District Administration Building for redevelopment.
(ii) The renovation and/or expansion of District educational buildings/campus structures, including but not limited to various technology upgrades to ensure among other things that the buildings at issue meet the various building codes and comply with other applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, provide additional upgraded athletic facilities, upgrade and renovate other equipment and facilities, including conference rooms, classrooms and other similar upgrades and additions, as well as certain mechanical and security upgrades, provide asbestos removal as appropriate and provide handicap accessibility improvements and additional athletic facilities including new softball fields and a new practice field, as well as new and renovated parking lots, and improvements needed to install a new traffic circulation pattern at one of the campus sites among other revisions, alterations and upgrades.
(iii) Relocating the District's middle school students, staff and programs to the West School campus.
(iv) Locating the District's two high schools into one location at the East School campus and the closing of the other high school.
(v) Potentially relocating the District's Administration Offices to the Corning Free Academy campus.
(vi) In addition, to the extent there is sufficient funding available in the budget provided for the 2010 Project pursuant to referendum undertaken in accordance with applicable law, the 2010 Project will also include additional improvements and renovations including construction of a new all-weather track at one of the school campuses, renovation of auditoriums and stages at the campuses identified, and additional site improvements to parking lots, driveways and sidewalks, as well as other renovations at the school campuses identified as referenced.
