Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The Planning Board of the Town of Southampton, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Lot Line Modification Map of Amy & Ira Waldman & Silvia Bolatti will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a lot line modification with an equal exchange between the Waldman and Bolatti properties; which is essentially re-locating the formal flag strip, also shown as a "Landscape Easement," to where the driveway currently exists, also shown as an "Existing (access) Easement," to reflect the actual circumstance on the property which involves two properties which both front upon Head of Pond Road. The project is located in the CR-80 Zoning District, within the Agricultural Overlay District, at 639 & 653 Head of Pond Road, in the Hamlet of Water Mill, Town of Southampton, New York.

Suffolk County - The Village of Port Jefferson Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed First Baptist Church Tree Removal will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the removal of 12 trees, 2 of the trees are regulated by the Village of Port Jefferson given they are greater than or equal to 9 inches in diameter. Replacement of 1 regulated tree, shrubs and brick sign in southwest corner with historic fountain. Removal of 1 regulated tree in the steep northeast section of the site to be replaced with three small trees and evergreen groundcover in same area. Erosion control measures proposed in this area as well. Other proposed work involves maintenance and upkeep of Church specifically: replacement of windows and exterior doors with type better coinciding with the historic building; and painting. Site is located within Port Jefferson Historic District which is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. Site is focal point of district given its prominent location and one site that maintains green space and trees. The project is located at 315 East Main Street in the Village of Port Jefferson, New York.

Suffolk County - The Town Board of the Town of Southampton, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Suffolk County Water Quality Protection and Restoration Program for Nonpoint Source Abatement and Control Project - Reeves Bay will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the on-site improvements to control pathogens, nitrogen, toxins, and enhancement of habitat and living resources of the Reeves Bay Management area and Peconic Bay. See the Reeves Bay Watershed Management Plan prepared by Horsley Witten Group, Inc. dated July 2006. The project is located in the Reeves Bay Watershed Area, north of State Road 24 in the Hamlet of Flanders, Town of Southampton, New York.

Positive Declaration

Nassau County - The Village of Great Neck Board of Appeals, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Old Mill II Subdivision and Variances may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves an application for variances from the following sections of the Code of the Village of Great Neck in order to subdivide a 3.104 acre parcel, § 575-23(A) and 575-25 (A). The site is partially within the Residence A District of the Village of Great Neck and partially within the Residence B District of the Village of Great Neck Estates and is currently improved with one dwelling (currently located in the Village of Great Neck Estates). The site will be subdivided into twelve parcels, eleven of which will be in the Village of Great Neck on currently vacant land. The project is located at 100 Clover Drive in the Village of Great Neck Estates, New York.
