Negative Declaration
Saratoga County - The Village Board of the Village of Ballston Spa, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Mohican Hill Senior Housing Development Phase 2 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the development of 40 senior citizen apartments in 5 buildings with associated parking, water, sewer, electric gas, communications services and stormwater management. The project is located on Fairground Avenue in the Village of Ballston Spa, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final GEIS
Hamilton County - The Adirondack Park Agency (APA) and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as co-lead agencies, have accepted a Final Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the Integrated Series of Proposed State Land Management Actions in the Vicinity of the Moose River Plains Wild Forest. The Final GEIS is available from the contact persons listed below and on the NYS DEC website at: http://www.dec.ny.gov/lands/22571.html.
The action involves an integrated series of related state land management actions in the vicinity of the Moose River Plains area including NYS DEC's proposed Unit Management Plans (UMPs) for the Moose River Plains Wild Forest Area and a proposed Moose River Plains Intensive Use Camping Area; and the establishment of final boundaries and river management plans for four designated Scenic and Recreational Rivers Areas. The action also includes the APA's related proposals to amend the Adirondack Park State Land Master Plan (SLMP or Master Plan) including the proposed reclassification of lands for the creation of a new Moose River Plains Intensive Use Camping Area, reclassification and expansion of the West Canada Lake Wilderness Area and related revisions to Master Plan Area Descriptions and Intensive Use Area Guidelines. The project is located in the Towns of Webb and Ohio in Herkimer County and the Towns of Arietta, Inlet, Long Lake, Lake Pleasant and Morehouse in Hamilton County, New York.
