Negative Declaration
Tompkins County - The Town of Ithaca Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Third Residential EcoVillage Experience will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the site plan approval, subdivision approval and amendment of Planned Development Zone (PDZ) No. 8 regarding the proposed construction of 30 new dwelling units at EcoVillage. The Planning Board will also consider granting a special permit to allow the proposed community center building to exceed 40 feet in height if the Town Board approves the PDZ amendment. Alternatively, the Town of Ithaca Zoning Board of Appeals could consider granting a height variance for the community center building. The project is located at Rachel Carson Way off Route 79 in the Town of Ithaca, New York.

Tompkins County - The Town of Ithaca Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Cayuga Medical Center Laboratory Addition will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a 15,700 ± square foot laboratory addition located partially below grade between the two patient wings on the east side of the hospital (back of) and an associated adjacent one-story mechanical room addition located east of the north wing. The laboratory portion of the addition will include a green roof while the mechanical room will have a standard roof. The project will also include relocation of the existing helipad and cooling towers, a new service entry and driveway, extension of the hospital's east side walkway and additional landscaping treatments. The project is located at 101 Harris B. Dates Drive in the Town of Ithaca, New York.
