Project Description: The action involves replacement in kind of an existing boathouse and shoreline retaining wall. The new retaining wall will be the same size and dimensions as the retaining wall it is replacing. The new boathouse will be larger than the boathouse it is replacing, but will comply with the Agency's revised boathouse regulations, effective September 2010. The project requires a permit from the Adirondack Park Agency Act due to the involvement of wetlands.

Project Title: Independent Towers Holdings, LLC Telecommunications Tower
Location: 8992 New York State Route 3 in Colton, New York.

Project Description: The applicants are seeking approval for a subdivision into sites involving the lease of a 75 foot by 100 foot parcel for the construction of a new 120 foot-tall telecommunications tower within a 75 foot by 75 foot fenced-in equipment compound. The compound will be located 1,000 ± feet south of New York State Route 3. The tower will be painted a dark charcoal gray with a non-reflective flat or matte finish. The proposed tower involves installation of 6 panel antennas on the tower (with future potential of co-location for two additional carriers below the proposed antennas). Access to the facility will be along a portion of an existing logging road that presently serves an existing commercial use on the site, and 125 ± feet of new access road to the proposed tower site. Underground utilities will be located along the edge of the access road.
Negative Declaration
Jefferson County - The Village of Sackets Harbor, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Amendment to Village of Sackets Harbor Zoning Law will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the consideration by the Village of Sackets Harbor to adopt a local law amending its zoning law to decrease the membership of its Planning Board from seven to five members. The project is located village wide in the Village of Sackets Harbor, New York.
