The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) has received a Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) Amendment application from The Wire Mill, LLC for a site known as the Former Hudson Wire Co., Site, site ID #C360065. This site is located in the Town of Ossining, within the County of Westchester, and is located at 47, 51-53, 61, 62 Water Street. Comments regarding this application must be submitted no later than November 26, 2010. Dutchess County - The Town of Hyde Park Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed New Town of Hyde Park Police/Court Facility will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a 9,960 square foot building to house the Town of Hyde Park Police Department and Town Justice Court. Parking for approximately 91 cars will be included. A water main along Crum Elbow Road will extended on to Cardinal Road to provide service to the new building and to provide services to the adjacent fire company. Also included in the action is a two lot subdivision of the existing lot. The project is located at the intersection of Cardinal Road and Crum Elbow Road in the Town of Hyde Park, New York.

Dutchess County - The Town Board of the Town of Poughkeepsie, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Zoning Map Amendment will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the amendment of the Town of Poughkeepsie Zoning Map that would change the zoning designation of a 0.67 ± acre site from Mutil-Family Residential (R-M) to Neighborhood Business (B-N). The project is located at 85 Taft Avenue in the Town of Poughkeepsie, New York.
