Project Description:
The applicant, Al Aparo Crane & Cesspool, proposes to construct and operate a new Solid Waste Transfer Station to handle portable toilet wastes, residential, commercial, industrial scavenger wastes, stormwater and grease wastes at 24,000 gallons per day. Once the service vehicle tanks are full, they must transport the waste to the Bergen Point Sewage Treatment Plant in Babylon for disposal. The project is located at 15 Greene Street, Bay Shore, Town of Islip, Suffolk County.
