The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has added a link to a translation service developed by Microsoft Inc., entitled Bing Translator, as a convenience to visitors to the DEC website who speak languages other than English.

Negative Declaration

Rensselaer County - The Town Board of the Town of Nassau, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Local Law No. 3 of 2010 Planned Development District Law of the Town of Nassau will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a local law to amend the Town of Nassau zoning regulations (Local Law No. 2 of 1986) as amended from time to time to provide the authority, and the procedural and substantive requirements, to review and approve Planned Development Districts in all Zoning Districts of the Town of Nassau. The project is located throughout the Town of Nassau.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Albany County - The Albany Pine Bush Preserve Commission, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Adoption and Implementation of a Management Plan for the Albany Pine Bush Preserve. The Final EIS is available at the City of Albany, Towns of Colonie and Guilderland public libraries and municipal offices and on line at: http://albanypinebush.org/commission/management_plans.htm.

The action involves the adoption and implementation of an updated management plan for the Albany Pine Bush Preserve. The project is located in the Towns of Colonie and Guilderland, the Village of Colonie and the City of Albany, New York.
