Westchester County - The Croton on Hudson Board of Trustees, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Local Law Introductory 6 of 2010 amending Chapter 123 of the Village Code will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of Local Law Introductory No.6 of 2010 amending Chapter 123 of Village Code which would allow persons holding valid New York State hunting licenses and Village-issued permits to bow-hunt white-tailed deer on specific properties within the Village of Croton-on-Hudson during the New York State bowhunting deer season in an attempt to reduce the while-tailed deer overpopulation. The project is located throughout the Village of Croton on Hudson, New York.

Positive Declaration and Public Scoping
Westchester County - The Town of Cortlandt Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Upland Lane Subdivision may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on October 5, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. at the Town of Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567. The action involves the application of Mark Giordano, for the property of Ruth Cohen, to the Town of Cortlandt Planning Board for Preliminary Plat approval and for Wetland, Steep Slope and Tree Removal Permits for a proposed conventional residential subdivision of 23.4 acres consisting of 6 lots for single family residences. This project also includes a proposed private road, driveways and other related site improvements as shown on a drawing entitled "Alternate Layout "A" with Rain Gardens Preliminary Plat" dated December 29, 2009, "Alternate Layout "A" Tree Preservation Plan", dated August 20, 2009 and "Upland Road Improvement Plan" latest revision dated May 24, 2010 all prepared by Ralph G.
