Negative Declaration

Madison County - The Village of Morrisville Board of Trustees, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of the Village of Morrisville Local Law 2009-1 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of a local law to amend the Zoning Coade of the Village of Morrisville with respect to adult business uses within the Village. The project is located throughout the Village of Morrisville, New York.

Onondaga County - The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (NYS OPRHP), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Development of Canal Landing State Park will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the development of a recreational park to include open space, playground, trail head, fitness trail, creek walk, restroom and shelters. The project is located at 100 Limestone Plaza adjacent to Limestone Creek in the Village of Fayetteville, New York.

Oswego County - The Town of Richland, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Richland Water District No. 3 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the development of the Town of Richland Water District No. 3 and Sections 1-7 is part of the overall Eastern Shore Water System project, which also includes the Town of Sandy Creek Water District No. 1. The Town of Richland Water District No. 3 and Sections 1-7 facilities include installation of new ductile iron water main and appurtenances, two (2) buried control valve stations, and rehabilitation of existing Schoeller Well Site water source wells or development of new water source wells at the site. The project is located throughout the Town of Richland, New York.

Positive Declaration and Public Scoping

Tompkins County - The Town of Ithaca Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Cornell University Energy Recovery Linac may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on September 21, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town of Ithaca Town Hall, 215 North Tioga Street, Ithaca, New York. The action involves the construction of an underground accelerator tunnel (14 foot diameter and 1 ± km long), a cryogenic facility, and an extension to the existing Wilson Laboratory (185,000 ± gross square feet of building space). The project will also involve new stormwater facilities, parking, outdoor lighting, and landscaping. The proposed project will require Site Plan and Special Permit Approval by the Town of Ithaca Planning Board. The project is located north of the Pine Tree Road and Dryden Road (NYS Route 366) intersection (at Wilson Lab Entrance) in the Town of Ithaca, New York.
