The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has added a link to a translation service developed by Microsoft Inc., entitled Bing Translator, as a convenience to visitors to the DEC website who speak languages other than English.

Public Notice

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) has received a Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) application and a Remedial Investigation Work Plan from Greenport Crossings, LLC for a site known as the Greenport Crossings, Site ID #C411017. This site is located in the Town of Greenport, City of Hudson, within the County of Columbia, and is located at 181 Turnpike (Route 66). Comments regarding this application must be submitted no later than September 24, 2010. Negative Declaration

Otsego County - The New York State Department of Transportation (NYS DOT), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed NYS Route 166 (BINS 1038890 and 1038900) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the replacement of two deficient bridges, BINs 1038890 and 1038900. Construction is planned for 2011. This notice pertains to the bridge at Cherry Valley which lies within two National Register Historic Districts. The project is located on NYS Route 166 over Sheldrake Creek and Cherry Valley Creek, respectively, in the Town of Middlefield and the Town of and Village of Cherry Valley, New York.
