Negative Declaration

Ulster County - The Town of Rochester Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Real Escapes Property Special Use Permit will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the proposed issuance of a Special Use Permit as per 140-42 of the Town of Rochester Zoning Ordinance for expansion of an existing spa facility to include parking area, gym, additions to main house and office, outdoor event pavilion, and sauna building. The project is located on Kyserike Road in the Town of Rochester, New York.

Dutchess County - The Village of Millbrook Board of Trustees, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local Law to Create a New §230-42.2 Mixed Use Buildings within the GB Zone will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of a new local law to allow for mixed-use buildings (commercial/retail on the ground floor, residential apartments on higher floors) within the Village's General Business (GB) zone. The project is located in the GB Zoning District of the Village of Millbrook, New York.

Sullivan County - The Town Board of the Town of Bethel, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of the Town of Bethel Agricultural and Farmland Protection Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of the Town's Agricultural and Farmland Protection Plan as an addendum to the adopted Town Comprehensive Plan in accordance with Section 272-a of Town Law. The Agricultural Plan includes statements of goals and objectives for the promotion of agricultural and protection of farmlands in the Town. Included in the plan are demographic statistics, past and present land uses, public opinion surveys, and recommendations for the Town to use and/or adopt in order to reach the aforementioned goals and objectives. The project is located throughout the Town of Bethel, New York.

Ulster County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Stanton Mine will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal to mine approximately 930,000 cubic yards of sand and gravel from 23.5 acres on two parcels of approximately 27 acres total over the course of 15 years. On-site processing includes crushing and screening. The site will be reclaimed as open field and pasture. The project is located at 325 Old Route 209 in the Town of Wawarsing, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Final GEIS

Orange County - The Town Board of the Town of Warwick, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Generic Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Community Business Zoning District. Copies of the Final GEIS are available at the Town of Warwick Town Clerk, Town Hall, 132 Kings Highway, Warwick, NY 10990, the Wisner Public Library, 1 McFarland Drive, Warwick, NY 10990 and online at: http://www.townofwarwick.org/.

The action involves the adoption of Zoning amendments that create standards for a new pedestrian friendly, walkable mixed-use area, called the Community Business Zoning District. The area is currently Zoned as Designed Shopping (DS) and Office Industrial Park (OI) Districts, which largely prescribes conventional suburban auto-oriented development, contrary to the recommendations of the Town's 2008 Comprehensive Plan. The project is located in the Route 94/Warwick Turnpike Corridor in the vicinity of the intersection with County Route 21, Warwick Turnpike, Town of Warwick, New York.
