Project Title: Independent Towers Holdings, LLC Telecommunications Tower

Location: Town of Caroga, Fulton County, New York State Route 10 & 29A. Tax Parcel 68-1-27 (tower site) and 68.14-1-6 (for portion of vegetative "no cutting" easement)

Project Description: The project is a subdivision into sites involving the lease of a 100 square foot parcel for the construction of a new 90-foot-tall (above existing ground level - AGL) telecommunications tower within a 75 square foot fenced-in equipment compound. The compound will be located 530± feet east of New York State Route 10 & 29A. The tower will be painted a dark charcoal gray or black with a non-reflective flat or matte finish. A vegetative "no cutting" easement will protect trees in the vicinity of the proposed tower. Within the fenced-in equipment compound, AT&T Mobility - Upstate NY is proposing to install 6 panel antennas on the tower (with future co-location of 3 additional panel antennas as the same height) and construct a 12-foot x 20-foot equipment shelter along with a backup generator. Access to the facility will be by an existing woods road which will be upgraded to accommodate construction and service vehicles. Underground utilities will be located along the road. Room for a second and third carrier is available both within the compound and on the tower.

Project Title: Lake George Association - Indian Brook Sediment Basin

Location: New Vermont Road and Federal Hill Road, Bolton Landing, NY

Project Description: The project is briefly described as the creation of a sediment retention basin on Indian Brook at the intersection of Federal Hill Road and New Vermont Road; an activity involving wetlands subject to Agency jurisdiction. The project sponsor proposes to remove up to 500 cubic yards of sediment within a 3,900± square foot area for purposes of creating a storm flow sediment retention basin. Upon completion of excavation, the newly formed basin is proposed to be vegetated with wetland plants and an additional 880± square feet of new wetlands are proposed. Upon completion the basin will be monitored and actively managed to remove accumulated sediments and nonnative invasive species.


Positive Declaration

Warren and Washington Counties - The Lake George Park Commission, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Mickey's Ice Cream may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the operation of a mobile vending business offering ice cream products and beverages from a vessel on Lake George. The project is located on Lake George along private land and Forest Preserve primarily in the Towns of Lake George, Bolton and Queensbury in the County of Warren and Fort Ann in the County of Washington, New York.
