Project Description:
The applicant proposes to undertake a stream restoration project at the NYS Route 3 bridge over Sandy Creek, approximately 1.2 miles west and downstream of the hamlet of Woodville. The project would utilize "J-Hooks", "Log Vanes", "Channel Blocks" and streambank grading to establish one stream channel and eliminate stream channel brading that takes place upstream of the bridge. The project should improve stream fishery habitat, reduce soil loss due to erosion, and help minimize historical ice sheeting conditions that seasonally threatens highway integrity. It is anticipated that the project would take two to three weeks to complete.

SEQR Lead Agency: None Designated
State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
A cultural resources survey has been completed. Based on information provided in the survey report, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) has determined that the proposed activity will have no impact on registered or eligible archaeological sites or historic structures. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
Coastal Management:
This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
Opportunity for Public Comment:

Project Description:
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is pursuing a Department Initiated Modification (DIM) to the State Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) Permit (NY0001490), pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 750-1.18, and 750-1.19, the Priority Ranking System known as New York State's Environmental Benefit Permit Strategy (EBPS).
The International Wire Group Inc - Camden Operations has a design flow of 70,000 gpd. The facility also treats 11,000 gpd electroplating wastewater. Treatment consists of equalization, chemical addition and precipitation, and filtration. The following changes to the permit are proposed: - Permit pages have been updated based on current DEC guidance, format and nomenclature. Contact names, addresses and phone numbers have been updated. - A definitions page has been added. - Effluent limits and monitoring requirements for antimony and bismuth at Outfall 004 has been deleted. These are no longer used in the manufacturing process. - Effluent limits at Outfall004 has been changed to mg/l, except for pH and flow. - Footnotes have been added. - Monitoring location maps have been added. - Best Management Practices requirements have been updated. - Water Treatment Chemical use requirements have been added.
