Ulster County - The Town of Ulster Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Local Laws No. 2, 3 & 4 of 2010 Amending Town of Ulster Zoning Law will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a series of Zoning Text Amendments contained in Local Laws No. 2, No. 3 and Local Law No. 4 of 2010. The proposed action will repeal and replace Article II - Terminology [Sections 190-3 and 190-4] and Article VII Off-Street Parking [Sections 190- 26 through 190-29] and Section 190-69 Table of Uses of Chapter 190 of the Code of the Town of Ulster. The project is located throughout the Town of Ulster, New York.

Dutchess County - The Town of East Fishkill Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Hopewell Village Green may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves a proposal to construct a 72 unit residential apartment complex on a 9.57 acre parcel in the hamlet of Hopewell Junction. In addition, the applicant is proposing to create a Hamlet Conservation Residential Development - Diversified Housing (HCRD - DH) zoning district, which would affect the project site as well as other parcels in the Town meeting applicable criteria. The proposed residential apartment complex is located at 672 Route 82 in Hopewell Junction, Town of East Fishkill, New York. The proposed HCRD-DH zoning district would encompass several other parcels throughout the Town of East Fishkill.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing
Putnam County - The Town of Patterson Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Watchtower Education Center Amended Site Plan. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held on September 2, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town of Patterson Town Hall, 1142 Route 311, Patterson. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until October 7, 2010. The Draft is available from the contact listed below and online at: http://pattersonny.org/.
The action involves a proposal by the applicant, Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York, Inc., to expand the Watchtower Educational Center (WEC) by adding approximately 904,000 square feet of new interior building space with a footprint of approximately 186,000 square feet. In addition, 434 new parking spaces would be added to the project site, 351 of which would be located in parking garage. The project is located on Route 22 in the Town of Patterson, New York.
