Project Description:

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has prepared a Draft Permit pursuant to Article 19 (Air Pollution Control) of the New York State Environmental Conservation Law (ECL), and has made a tentative determination to approve this application for operations at the Pall Trinity Micro facility located in the town of Cortlandville, NY.
Pall Trinity Micro is a manufacturer of disposable and cleanable filter elements, filtration systems, filter housings, and metal filter media. The facility is currently a major source of volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions and has a current issued Title V permit.

This draft permit is a preconstruction permit to allow the installation of an additional test tank and drying oven in support of filter manufacturing operations at the facility. Included in the permit are limitations on VOC emissions to avoid the NYCRR Part 231 New Source Review requirements and to meet Reasonably Available Control Technology (RACT) requirements.
