Negative Declaration

Genesee County - The Town of Batavia, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Batavia Creek Road Water District will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves an extension of approximately 22,000 linear feet of watermain. In addition to the watermain, the project includes hydrants, valves, road crossings, excavation and bedding materials, watermain connections, residential hook-ups, and surface restoration. Residents in this area are dependent upon individual groundwater supplies that historically have produced very low yields of poor quality water. The project is located along portions of Creek Road, East Road, Lehigh Road and Dorman Road in the Town of Batavia, New York.

Residents in this area are dependent upon individual groundwater supplies that historically have produced very low yields of poor quality water. The project is located along portions of Pratt Road and Powers Road in the Town of Batavia, New York.

In addition to the watermain, the project includes hydrants, valves, road crossings, excavation and bedding materials, watermain connections, residential hook-ups, and surface restoration. Residents in this area are dependent upon individual groundwater supplies that historically have produced very low yields of poor quality water. The project is located along portions of Batavia-Elba Townline Road, Downey Road and Lewiston Road (NYS Route 63) in the Town of Batavia, New York.

Residents in this area are dependent upon individual groundwater supplies that historically have produced very low yields of poor quality water. The project is located along portions of Oak Orchard Road (NYS Route 98), Batavia-Elba Townline Road, Batavia-Stafford Townline Road, State Street Road and Bank Street Road in the Town of Batavia, New York.

Livingston County - The Village of Geneseo Planning Baord, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Hartford House Subdivision - Phase II will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a four lot subdivision of 7.7 acre gatehouse parcel to create two new building lots of 18,750 square feet each, with access on Avon Road, and one lot around existing gatehouse. The project is located on Avon Road in the Village of Geneseo, New York.

Steuben County - The Painted Post Village Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Amendments to the Zoning Law Concerning Signs will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the adoption of amendments to the Town's Zoning Law which would include:

• Changes to definitions.
• Allows existing signs to be considered non-conforming.
• Addition of an intent section to the sign law.
• Addition and clarification of the general sign regulations.
• Increases the square footage of permitted signage in most zoning districts.
• Increases the period of display for temporary signs.
• Clarifies the procedure for installing a sign in a planned district.

The project is located throughout the Village of Painted Post, New York.
