Negative Declaration

Dutchess County - The Town of Hyde Park Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Gomes Estates will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal by the applicant for approval of a subdivision plat for the development of a 11 lot subdivision. Lot sizes range between 1.01 acres and 11.75 acres. Houses would be served by public water and private sewage disposal systems. A 2,150 foot long road would be constructed to provide access to the lots and would be offered for dedication to the Town. The project is located at 19 South Cross Road in the Greenbelt District of the Town of Hyde Park, New York.

Dutchess County - The Town of Hyde Park Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Anderson Center Propane Tank Farm Site Plan Amendment will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal by the applicant for a site plan amendment approval to construct a tank farm consisting of approval to install 21 propane tanks on the north side of the main school building, known as the Anderson Education Center, with a total storage capacity of 24,000 gallons, remove an existing above-ground tank, and make other associated site improvements. The project is located at 4885 Route 9 in Staatsburg, Town of Hyde Park, New York.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Comment Period

Orange County - The Town of Montgomery Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Hudson Internationl Business Center. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until August 16, 2010. The Draft EIS is available on the Town of Montgomery website: www.townofmontgomery.com and at the Town of Montgomery Town Hall and Walden Library. The action involves a proposal by the applicant, Route 747 Investors I, LLC, to develop a 281.4 acre site located in the Town of Montgomery with access to NYS 747 to an Industrial Park to be known as the Hudson International Business Center. This site will be served by a 5,400 foot long road to be built to town industrial collector road standards which provides access to approximately 1,500,000 square feet of industrial-commercial space. Emergency access to the site will be available at the end of Maple Avenue which will be modified with a turnaround to serve only the residential and other uses in that area. The site will be developed with central water and central sewer service. Approvals will be required for site plans, special exception permit uses and the potential subdivision of building lots. The project is located at NYS Route 747 at I-84 and Maple Avenue in the Town of Montgomery, New York.

Westchester County - The Town of Bedford Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Bedford Community Church. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted by the contact listed below until September 8, 2010. The action involves the proposed development of a new religious building/church. The project is located at the northeasterly corner of Buxton Road and Bedford Center Road in Bedford Hills, Town of Bedford, New York.
