Project Description:

The permittee proposes to modify an existing Solid Waste Management permit to increase the daily average throughput from 580 tpd to 800 tpd, at the existing County Waste, Troy Transfer facility. The permittee also proposes to extend morning operating hours to 5 am - 7 pm and to allow receipt of waste without processing from 10 pm - 3 am. The facility is located at 799 Burden Avenue, City of Troy, Rensselaer County.

State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:

The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The permit type is exempt or the activity is being reviewed in accordance with federal historic preservation regulations.

Coastal Management:

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
