Negative Declaration

Saratoga and Washington Counties - The Historic Saratoga-Washington on the Hudson Partnership (HSWH Partnership), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Stewardship Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a Stewardship Plan which is a comprehensive planning document that advances a set of strategies that will implement a long-term vision for the Hudson River corridor from the Town of Waterford in Saratoga County to the Town of Fort Edward in Washington County. The implementation of these strategies will result in a regional revitalization initiative that promotes a general economy that is both vibrant and sustainable for the benefit of future generations. The Stewardship Plan is vitally needed to stimulate private and public investment in the 15 communities along the 35 mile long Hudson River/Champlain Canal corridor including the towns of Northumberland, Saratoga, Waterford, Stillwater, Halfmoon, Fort Edward, Greenwich, and Easton, the villages of Schuylerville, Victory, Stillwater, Waterford, Fort Edward and Greenwich, and the City of Mechanicville, New York.
