Negative Declaration

Orange County - The New York State Department of Transportation (NYS DOT), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed NYS Route 97 Parapet Wall Repair will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the rehabilitation of the parapet wall using cost effective repair and replacement methods to restore the wall to its original designed condition. The project will also remove graffiti and litter within the highway boundary to bring the facility back to an attractive appearance appropriate for a designated scenic highway. This project begins on NYS Route 97 in the Hamlet of Sparrowbush about 0.60 miles north of Bolton Basin Road and continues north and westerly to a point about 1.07 miles south of Wilson Road in the Town of Deerpark, New York.

Westchester County - The Town Board of the Town of Mamaroneck, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Special Permit for a Mixed-Use Development will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposed amendment which would increase the maximum number of dwelling units from 139 to 149. Of these additional 10 units, five would be two-bedroom units and five would be one-bedroom units. The number of parking spaces in the garage would increase to accommodate 149 units so that the resulting number of parking spaces would conform with the Town's zoning code. The circulation of traffic within the garage would be altered to provide a better flow. The project is located on property generally bounded by Byron Place, Madison Avenue and Maxwell Avenue in the Town of Mamaroneck, New York.
