Project Description:
The applicant proposed to modify an existing permit to include a low profile portable sand and gravel wash plant including two associated settling ponds and one clear water pond. The system will be closed loop with no off-site discharge. Overall production at the mine may decrease slightly as a result of the wash process. No other changes are proposed at the mine. The site is located on Maple Lane adjacent to US 9 in the Town of Livingston. MLF # 40840

The proposed activity is not subject to review in accordance with SHPA. The permit type is exempt or the activity is being reviewed in accordance with federal historic preservation regulations.

This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
