The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has added a link to a translation service developed by Microsoft Inc., entitled Bing Translator, as a convenience to visitors to the DEC website who speak languages other than English.

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC) has received three (3) Brownfield Cleanup Program (BCP) applications from Maxon ALCO Holdings, LLC for three sites known as the ALCO-Maxon Site - Parcel A, site ID #C447042; ALCO-Maxon Site - Parcel B, site ID #C447043; and ALCO-Maxon Site - Parcel C, site ID #C447044. The three sites are located in the City of Schenectady, within the County of Schenectady, and are located at 301 Nott Street, Schenectady, New York 12305. Comments regarding these applications must be submitted no later than August 14, 2010. Negative Declaration

Albany County - The Town of Guilderland Zoning Board of Appeal, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) Office Expansion / Carman Road Facility will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves an expansion of NYISO's office building. The expansion involves a one story, 13,000 square foot addition to the office building, the placement of two new emergency back-up generators at the site, and removal of the modular office building. The project is located at 3890 Carman Road in the Town of Guilderland, New York.
