Negative Declaration

Suffolk County - The Town of Brookhaven Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed C.M.C. Wireless will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves two (2) parcels which are curently being used for commercial use and currently not in compliance with the Brookhaven Town L-1 zoning as there is existing front yard parking. This non-conforming parking will be addressed as part of the application process. The proposed project will result in significant site improvements from on-site landscaping, re-vegetation in accordance with the Central Pine Barrens Joint Planning and Policy Commission (CPBJPPC) clearing limits and will allow for the construction of a 120 foot tall wireless communications monopole in a commercial area, which will be well screened from the surronding A-1 properties. A special use permit is being requested for overnight parking and for vehicle repairs. The project is located at 30 North Dunton Avenue, Medford, New York.
