Project Description:
The Department has prepared a draft permit and has made a tentative determination to approve this application for an Air State Facility Permit. The facility is a center for the Internal Revenue Service's (IRS) operations. The facility operates two (2) dual fired boilers, each rated at 20.9 MMBtu/hr which can burn #2 fuel oil and natural gas. There are two (2) 1500 kW emergency generators and an emergency combined heat power system consisting of six (6) generators and six (6) heat recovery boilers. The facility will cap emissions of Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx) at 22.5 tons per year in order to avoid Title V facility status."

Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed.

State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination:
A Structural-Archaeological Assessment Form has been completed. The proposed activity will not impact on registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures.
Coastal Management:
This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
Opportunity for Public Comment:
