Project Description: The action involves a major public utility use and two-lot subdivision involving wetlands within 1/4 mile of the Boquet River, a designated Recreational River. The project will create a 2.0 ± acre lot to be acquired by the Town of Westport to establish a new public water supply (two wells, control building with an underground 23,000 gallon water storage tank, and 710 linear feet of new transmission main) to be connected into the existing transmission main on Lewis/Wadhams Road, and a vacant 30 ± acre parcel.
Negative Declaration
Franklin County - The Town Board of the Town of Franklin, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Repeal of Local Law #1, 2009 Major Subdivision Control Law will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the Town of Franklin seeking to repeal Local Law #1 of 2009 entitled "Major Subdivision Control Law" (MSCL). The project is located throughout the Town of Franklin, New York.

Warren County - The New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation (NYS EFC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Berry Pond will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a loan for the purchase of the Berry Pond Tract 1436 as part of the West Brook Conservation Initiative for Lake George. No construction or change in the land is planned. The project is located off of Route 9N in the Town of Lake George, Town of Warrensburg and the Town of Lake Luzerne, New York.
