Negative Declaration
Bronx, Kings, New York, Queens and Richmond Counties (Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island) - The New York City Planning Commisssion, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Car Share Text Amendment will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a proposal by the New York City Department of City Planning for a city-wide text amendment to the Zoning Resolution to create regulations to allow car share vehicles to park in off-street accessory garages and lots and in public parking facilities in all zoning districts. The purpose of this proposal is to alleviate any ambiguity about the permissibility of car sharing and to establish clear and appropriate guidelines for such facilities with this zoning text amendment. The project is located city wide in all five bouroughs.
